Dubbed the most competitive class in Grand Prix racing
due to its control Triumph engine, restrictions on modifications and limited electronic rider aids, Moto2 is a category that further pushes the boundaries of rider skills and team management by levelling the playing field for all teams.
The 2020 season sees a mixture of experience and potential joining the PETRONAS Sprinta Racing squad as they enter their second season in the class, with former European Moto2 Championship runner-up Xavi Vierge and 2019 rookie Jake Dixon joining the team as it expands to a two-rider squad for the first time.
